About us
Fjallasyn Runars Oskarssonar ehf. is owned by the husband and wife team of Runar Oskarsson and Hulda Jona Jonasdottir.
They acquired their first coach in 1982 when Mr. Oskarsson started driving the school bus for Hafralaekjarskoli.
Since 1982 the number of coaches has slowly grown and the business has expanded. During the summer of 2005 the fleet consisted of 14 coaches of various sizes.
Proper maintenance of the coaches has always been a priority and in 1992 a new garage was built. It is fully equipped for all aspects of maintenance, which is performed by our experienced mechanics.
Fjallasyn Runars Oskarssonar ehf. has a permit to transport people and to operate specially equipped vehicles, issued by the Icelandic Road Administration in accordance to the Transportation Act no. 73/2001.
